【摘要】本文报道最近从峡东震旦系上统陡山沱组岩石薄片中发现的一种保存特好的微浮游植物化石——具刺疑源类的大型发球藻(新种)(Comasphaeridiummagnumsp.nov.)。这一发现不仅丰富了我国震旦系微浮游植物群的资料,而且表明Comasphaeridium属的地质时代还可延续到晚前寒武纪。峡东陡山沱组是该属迄今所知道的最低层位。
